I thought your question was hilarious. Then reading the responses made me really lose it.
Read for meaning, people. Read for meaning.

I don't believe in being saved because the way it was explained to me was that you only have to be saved once as long as you truly recognize the lord as your savior and that no matter what bad thing you do you will always be saved. So, I don't think anyone can truly say they are saved because we all sin and if your heart becomes evil after being saved doesn't that mean heaven will be filled with evil people?

YES!!! and this is what it took:
Jesus was hauled before Pilate, pronounced guilty without proof and sentence to be crucified because the crowd demanded it.
He was tortured. His beard was jerked out of his face. His clothing was removed and he was beaten 40 lashes worth with a cat-o-nine-tails (which is a leather whip with nine straps loaded with shards of rock and glass). This beating opened up the flesh and exposed his bowels.
A heavy robe was sent for and placed directly on his bloody, cut back. A crown was formed of a local briar whose spines were about 4 inches long and jammed down on his head.
His beating left him in such a state that he was unrecognizable as a man
He was then forced to carry one of the beams of the cross on that torn up back approximately 4 miles to the edge of the city.
His hand feet were nailed into that beam and second beam was placed across the first and his hands nailed to that one.
He stayed in that position for the next six hours.
He was laid in a borrowed tomb and rose out of it within 3 days!!!!
He is at the right hand of the Father preparing a place for all who believe and is coming back to get us.
Wanna go?

Saved from what: being myself - no; growing old - no; answering questions like this on R&S - no;
But I am saved - just - by a sense of humour, infinite patience and an enormous amount of self-control.
And of course I back up everything once every ten years.

According to typical Christianity, Yes.
According to my beliefs, I am a Mormon, salvation is a future event, one that most likely will not be known during this life. That is why I try to do all I can to live as Christ would have me live and have faith that he will make up the difference for what I lack.

What does the Bible say? At Mark 13:13, it says: "But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved."
