They got him drunk and had sex with him. Although men that are too drunk to know that they are having sex with their daughters are usually too drunk to "perform". You can read it here... http://bibleresources.bible.com/passagesearchresults.php?passage1=Genesis+19%3A30-38&version1=31

Lot had a bunch of daughters. Some were married, two were not. When the angels came to Sodom and Gomorrah, the homosexual men of the city bombarded Lot's house demanding that he send the angels out so the perverts could rape them. Lot offered them his virgin daughters instead (real winner of a dad, wasn't he?). When they fled the city, only Lot's wife and those two unmarried daughters came with him - the rest of his family stayed. His wife was turned into a pillar of salt because she looked back at the destruction of the city. His daughters hid out in a cave with Lot while they figured out what to do. I guess they thought that nobody would ever marry them or something weird like that, so they decided to get their father drunk and impregnate themselves with his seed (his daughters were just as perverse as him...creepy family dynamics this bunch had huh!).
2 things. First, please don't assume that because this story was in the Bible means that God automatically approves of rape and incest. He doesn't. Just because something is in the Bible doesn't mean it's there to show that God "likes" it or approves of it. That is a common misconception that people have about the Bible, and it is used by people who hate the BIble to make other people think ill of it too.
Second, people always mention that the Bible calls Lot a righteous man, and yet his life was so full of sin and wickedness. Do you know why Lot was counted among the righteous? It wasn't because of his deeds...it was because, at some point in Lot's life, he put his faith in God and trusted that God would save him from his sins (which were many lol). I think the story of Lot only drives home the point that we are not saved by our works - how could a man full of wicked works be saved if that was the case?
ps to the author - God doesn't approve of what they did!! There is no verse in that passage that says that God gave those girls the thumbs up to commit incest. He didn't. Just because it happened and was recorded in Scripture does NOT mean that it was "God's plan" or that it has God's approval. Please understand that!!!!

His wife died when she looked back while fleeing the city after God told them not to look back. They were fleeing because 2 angles came to Lotts house and the men in the town heard about it and wanted to sleep with the angles. God punished the people by burying their city.
Lott and his daughters slept in a cave and realized they need men to help take on their everyday lives. So they slept with their father who was very old at the time to bare children.

i have continually wondered an similar element honestly. I also ask your self how Christians can seem at those verses and say "seem! Lot did not go with to enable the mob have gay sex with the angels!" yet once you discuss the "So take my daughters instead" area they're all "oh, nicely overlook about that area!" bah aha identifying on and identifying on for the win -_- Plus...in the experience that they were angels why couldn't they in simple terms fly away? O_o

Well Ronnie Lott had a pair of twin daughters and he and his ex-wife were involved in a heated custody dispute.... well eventually the two girls had to go to separate schools and nobody knew that they secretly switched schools and nobody knew the difference. Nobody caught on to the fact, although both of them graduated from prestigious universities, mascarading as each other..

God isn't giving a thumbs up for that. The bible is simply reporting the story.
