How To Escape Hell

2016-10-20 05:44:45 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

This is what I think about the afterlife:
There is indeed a Heaven and Hell, as well as a sort of Purgatory. But it's not fair for atheists and thieves to spend eternity in Hell, as 10 years is merely the first moment of eternity as I believe the phrase goes. I think that for truly horrible people, they get punished in hell for as long as they deserve. Atheists and people who didn't do anything wrong but don't really deserve heaven go to Purgatory, which is like rehab, until they are ready for Heaven. And the people who were in hell long enough and deserve to get out, then they can go up the levels. I have a different religion that I made up myself, called Compassionism, and this is what i believe. because it's not fair to spend eternity in Hell for not believing in something. It's just not right.

I don't believe you can. I believe that people cannot escape from hell because they have chosen their sin over God. Once in hell they will continue to sin and their for will continually receiving judgment for continual sins. I can't image how miserable this must be.

You are all retarded. Believe in this doctrine or in this god otherwise you will be tortured forever.

I am an atheist. I have a theology minor and a PH.D in history so i know a thing or two about all religions. I specialize in Christianity (all forms of it). As an atheist i donate 25% of my income every month, i volunteer 100 hours a month, and i am an ethically sound person. But because i do not believe in a religion which presents no proof as to it's existence. I'm not talking about experience, because that is not proof it is opinion. I'm talking hard evidence, that all can see.

It amazes me that someone can do horrid things (crusades, Spanish inquisition, and 1000 years of dictatorial control by the catholic church) and they can go to Heaven, however myself, who does more good for this earth than many Christians but i will go to hell because i don't believe what you believe.

Hell does not exist, it was created to convert more people to the Christian doctrine. Jesus, your lord and savior, was a Jew and didn't believe in Hell. If Jesus was real (41 historians that lived in the area of Jesus at the time of Jesus never recorded him once) than he would be humiliated by the horrible religion that sprang up in his name

Psalm 16:10 (Read all of Psalm 16)

For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Proverbs 27:20 (Read all of Proverbs 27)

Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.

Isaiah 28:15 (Read all of Isaiah 28)

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Ezekiel 31:17 (Read all of Ezekiel 31)

They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.

Matthew 23:33 (Read all of Matthew 23)

Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Yes, but only if & when God resurrects you along with the rest of mankind (after Armaggedon) who have died, yet did not sin against His holy spirit--because the word 'hell' stands for the common grave of mankind, which is described thusly in God's Word:

“'The first man Adam became a living soul.' ..."
-- 1 Corinthians 15:45a, see also:Genesis 2:7b

"The soul that is sinning--it itself will die." --Ezekiel 18:4

"His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish." --Psalm 146:4

"All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going." --Ecclesiastes 9:10

"You will ... return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return." --Genesis 3:19

NOTE that the "Lake of Fire" is actually called the "second death" in Revelation, meaning that there is no hope of revival from it... Even Adamic death & the grave (Ha'des) are hurled into it:

"Death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire." --Revelation 20:14

The original usage of the word, 'hell', was in Olde English, in which it simply meant the storage underground (or, in a cellar)
of potatoes. It had nothing to do with heating or preparing the ppotatoes in any way...just simple storage.

When people die, those who God feels are worthy of a resurrection, are stored away in His memory, for just that purpose.

Climb the nearest ladder. Of course, with the kind of luck it took for you to get down there in the first place, you might emerge just as the first missile in a future nuclear war arrives...
