If you found out your god did something that was not ethical or hypocritical and lied to you about it, would you still love and worship it?
Not trying to be offensive. I'm just curious.

the concept of forgiveness suggests that we should forgive god... bit of an expert type question, u should ask a priest.

May be man made gods do unethical things. The one and only God who created heavens and earth never does any thing wrong. He is the wiset and the most powerful and has power over all things no matter what. T

hinking about God that He did some thing ethical is a great sin and putting oneself in big troubel on the Day of Judgment.

I love God because He is incapable of doing anything hypocritical and unethical. He is all that is good and pure and Holy.

Since the God I serve is incapable of doing anything unethical or hypocritical, I would say this question is moot. I love Him because He is Love.

given the fact that I believe my God is perfect, I do not believe that is possible nor do I wish question him. Plus, if we found that someones God did something unethical, then wouldn't that prove that God does exist?
also....I don't "worship" God. I praise him. It's a difference.

it goes back to the old proverb of the clay pot having to accept whatever the creator has in mind for it ... i trust God and that He is good ..
