I think it's stupid that everyone blames the USA for all the bad things in this world but when something happens like a natural disaster or one country gets attacked by another country the USA is expected to send money, supplies, troops and whatever else. Like its expected or the USA is just even more evil for not helping. It's annoying. Yes, things going on in Iraq are getting out of control. (By the way, it's not the troops fault, they are doing what they are told. That's what being in the military is about) But blaming the US for everything is ridiculous. It's a lose-lose situation! If you live in the USA and you don't like the policies, then write to the government and be proactive about it. Don't complain and complain and do nothing. Vote, protest, do whatever. But sitting here on Yahoo answers griping about how much it sucks it just a waste of time! If you hate it so much, go to another country and see how well you are received when you speak out against the government.

im sure all of u understood the Q but thought it would be more interesting to ignore it
i'll tell u what's it doing to the world , after 9/11 the US felt as if it lost its power and her place as the worlds largest power, i mean if a tiny man in afghanistan could do that to a country as big as the USA with probably the biggest army in the world, think what larger countries could do to them say russia, germany or any other country so they wanted to show the world that they still "rule" it, even if it meant invading other ppls countries for false reasons and kill its civilians for the name of freedom ...
i have nothing against the ppl of USA and i really feel sorry for 9/11 cause no sane person could be happy for what happened but what America did after it, is even a bigger crime

As someone who loves my country and served it in the US Navy, and would gladly do it again, I believe that Americans tends to stick their nose into other people's business entirely too much. We do not understand these other cultures and should not expect them to behave as us. Just because we have different customs does not mean that we are right. Sometimes it is best to let people settle their own disputes and keep your nose out of it.
We focus on people half a world away and assume that they want us to come into their country and destroy their infrastructure in the name of spreading democracy. Instead we should focus on our own issues, because we are pretty screwed up too. Then perhaps instead of doing nothing about illegal immigrations we should help our closest neighbor fix the issues that drives their people to us in the first place.
Apparently we expect that they should understand our language as well the way people want to rip others who obviously do not speak or write English very well. That's because too many of us think that we're better than everyone else. Spend more time being compassionate and less time trying to point over everyones faults people!
Maybe if we try to understand one another we can all make it a little easier for others. We are all just people with essentially the same struggles. If nothing else start here and try to be a little more patient and understanding.
Go ahead and give me the thumbs down because you don't like what I have to say, but think about it at least. The behavior exhibited here is part of the reason why so many people from foreign countries hate Americans.
I for one want to represent what is good about America, and there is a lot more of that than bad.

lots of things, killing off civilians , destroying nations in the name of search for democracy, creating terrorist superpowers like iran, blaming other religions for their failed CIA projects like bin laden, freeing murderers and arsonists who killed many innocent civilians and policemen within weeks of their arrest in other countries to "uphold" democracy and reform those allies of the US .
that's what you get to do when you're in charge, you are the law and what you do is legal and for the good of the world.
the british government is not less involved in such activities. that's why these governments are resented. we don't know who the next iraq will be , some conventions held in the US with US organizations participation discussed turning saudi arabia and neighboring countries into a future iraq, just destroy those countries .
i'm glad to see that some americans do realize what happened including someone who served in the navy , inspite of what bush and cheney keep saying.
9/11 is not something we enjoyed seeing on tv as muslims, i know people who had relatives there , muslims died there too , even if they didn't other people are human and don't deserve what happened , but killing off civilians in iraq and raping their daughters is no answer, nor is creating more terrorism in middle eastern countries then being happy for the "democratic reform" that includes pleasing criminals and iranian puppets that are only following iran's orders and get direct american support.
