i love this one boy and i really do care about him but his X girlfriend wont let him go. so he's tied up with her. all she does to him is give him stress, and my brother dont like him because theres a rumor going around saying that he asked me and this other girl out while he was going out with this one girl. but none of that is true. and my brother wants to fight with him. what should i do? i know i can be a better girlfriend for him. help me and i'm 16 years old and never had a boyfriend so please help!

Tell you brother to butt out, but take his advice carefully. You need to be careful who you fall in love with. This guy needs to break it off with his ex or you should dump him.

It is best to go out with some one who loves you back and wants to spend all his time with you.
I think he could get rid of his x if he really wanted too.
You don't need all this agro with your brother too.
If you are asking us questions perhaps deep down you know he is not the one for you.

I think you may wanna back away for a bit. This sounds like a risky situation, especially if he can't let go of his other gf. You may end up with your first bf breaking your heart.

A relationship is between two people (usually unless you like kinky stuff). Anyway because its between two people (you and him) then go and speak to him about this. Dive in and see what happens.
Ignore you boyfriend and ignore the Ex girlfriend (afterall she is an EX!!!).

wow...let your brother fight him, thats not your decision...and if that one girl wont leave your man alone...then regulate, also, if this is your first boyfriend, you dont love him, you love the idea of him, and just dont realize it because you have no other basis for comparison

first, understand your bro is just trying to protect you. tell him you appreciate it but would like it if he let you learn yourself. next, ask the boy if he want's to go out with you. if he says no because of his ex, ask him which he cares more about:you or the ex. he should stand up for himself. if he dumped her, that's that. if he stays with he, he just might like her after all, or not strong enought to be himself

Oh honey don't full yourself anymore than what you have. She isn't doing anything. No one is forcing him to stay with her. IF he were really interested in YOU then he would be with YOU. Listen to your brother.
And in the future don't romanize a bad relationship it will only hurt you in the future.

Ask your brother to back off first of all, that you can do your mess
And ask him out ... then his ex will back away because he would protect you against her (which i doubt u and her have a fight)
