No, it is not true.
There is a law concerning income taxes and it is Title 26 U.S.C.
http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/uscode26/usc_sup_01_26.html
The income tax laws were passed by Congress and signed into law by a President. The authority to do this was given to Congress by Article 1 Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution. The 16th amendment clarified the power to Congress to lay and collect an income tax.

Edit: The courts have never said that income is only corporation profits or gains. In fact, many courts have specifically stated that "WAGES ARE INCOME". Central Illinois Public Serv. Co. v. United States, 435 U.S. 21, 25 (1978); Cheek v. United States, 498 U.S. 192, 204 (1991); United States v. Connor, 898 F.2d 942, 943-944 (3rd Cir. 1990); Beard v. Commissioner, 793 F.2d 139, 140 (6th Cir. 1986), aff’g 82 T.C. 766 (1984); Coleman v. Commissioner, 791 F.2d 68 (7th Cir. 1986), citing United States v. Thomas, 788 F.2d 1250 (7th Cir. 1986); Lovell v. United States, 755 F.2d 517 (7th Cir. 1984); Granzow v. Commissioner, 739 F.2d 265, 267 (7th Cir. 1984); United States v. Koliboski, 732 F.2d 1328, 1329 n.1 (7th Cir. 1984);
You can also ignore "America: Freedom to Fascism". The movie is full of inaccuracies and conspiracy theory nonsense. There is a law concerning income taxes. Taxes are constitutional. The Federal Reserve is not a conspiracy by bankers to control the government. The Federal Reserve act was not illegally voted on while Congress was in recess. President Woodrow Wilson never made the "I am a most unhappy man" quote. etc. etc.

There are people who claim this just to end up in trouble. Please review the 16th Amendment of the US Constitution and United States Code Title 26. There has not been one single court case won regarding not paying taxes because there was no a federal law.How else to people expect governments (federal, state and local) to operate without collecting taxes? Pay your fair share.

Search for: Title 26 - Internal Revenue Code
The people who claim that there is no law requiring us to file and pay are called "Tax Protesters". They have a wonderful record in court. They are batting .000 in every courtroom in the country.

If I understand the situation correctly, you did not include the false $10K in W2 wages on your recently filed tax returns. If that is correct, you will later receive a letter from the IRS asking about the $10K. That may take some time, as it takes a while for the IRS to match information returns (such as W2s) to tax returns.

No, that is not true. This rumor is addressed by the IRS under the Tax Evasion Schemes section.

Try reading the instructions for your 1040 form.
Other than that, you are listening to too many tax protestors.

Right. We're all filing tax returns purely for the enjoyment and exercise of it all.

The Supreme Court has ruled that "Income" is defined as profit from corporate or investment activity. The thrust of the tax honesty movement is that money being exchanged for labor (i.e. working) is not income as defined by the courts.

Of course it's not true! You've been lied to, plain and simple. There are some idiots who claim such. What they get out of it is beyond me.
