Heartache is equal to love, no matter the relationship. Also the condition that surronds it, regert, mutal failure, weather you got closure, has a big influence on the amount of time you'll spend learning your lesson so that you can use that later in life, but like all things individual, your mileage may very.... A good word is PAINFUL, if that helps, but if your motivated to leave, it can be LIBERATING. So your perception is actually the BIGGEST indicator of what experience you would have leaving......
