My calendar says the full moon is at it's highest tomorrow night. But another ones says tonight. OR does it matter? I think I'll wait until tomorrow.....

I just compl;eted my Blood Moon ceremony about 20 minutes ago. LOL Actuallly the moon is at it's fullest about 11:51 PM CDT. The general rule is within 3 days of the actual event, keeping in mind the CURRENT aspect of the Moon for any spellworkings. if you're doing your circle before the FULL of the moon then go for positive wording, if AFTER, the banishing or negative wording for the opposite of what you are conducting the spell for.

I do my ritual over the time that the Great Spirit is there and is calling. She has been leading me up each night for the last 3 days, to tonite or tomorrow, but in truth, ritual comes upon me and it happens when it is there. I can't explain it any better except to say that I have everything ready in my hands and my heart to stop and drink in the night, and call upon the Quarters.
The vibe has been stronger and stronger. I think it will be tonite.

Thanks for reminding me to go boil some water to make mugwort tea. I need to wash my crystals and clean my scrying mirrors . I will probably clean my tools and lay them out tomorrow to charge.I want them cleaned and fully charged for Samhain Eve and do ritual tonite or tomorrow. From all the smoke in the air in California the moon looks orange,like a jack-o-lantern..Very Eerie and Beautiful..Peace sister/friend!

Farmers almanac claims full hunter's moon this evening. Just out of curiosity, what IS the ritual?

As I was taught, the full moon actually lasts three days -- the date of the full moon and one day on either side of that.
My own full moon worship group will actually be meeting this Saturday, on the waning moon.
