It doesn't happen to me now, but it used to. I mean I know its a good thing to look nice, but you can look nice with out expensive designer brands. Why should the clothes you wear bring you down on the social list? What is the world comming to when you see a 4 year old making fun of another 4 year old becuase she got her outfit from libby loo and the other one got her outfit at walmart? I really bugs me, and no matter what you say or do, you can't stop snotty, selfish, bratty people who just want to be a bit*h becuase they can. Any one agree?

when you hit your 20's no of that will matter! I promise
I never had name brand and i was picked on and was a dork!
well now I'm living the life of my dreams!
and i have the best of the best!
(maybe not all name brand if any)
and the people who really care about all that name brand crap! are for the most part brats they are snotty they try to act rich and by my choice they are not and never will be friend of mine! I like down to earth REAL people and they make the truest of all friends!
no ovence on the fake peeps they just can't hold down a true friendship ask them if they are still friends with there highschool peeps chance are no!
the other one like me and you we are friends for life! and it shows!
so don't wory about those snobs with labels just look at them and say nice i'm glad you got money to drop on 1 pair of shoes! I just bought a hole outfit for that cost and i still look better then you!
sorry!
but have a nice day!

I Agree so much! But it also happens the other way round ive noticed, well kind of. Because if anyone goes somewhere wearing something designer and theres someone wearing something cheaper then the person without the designer will automatically assume that this person is stuck up or rich and snobby. Or up them selves.
But it really bugs me when people with money think there better
Its like get over yourself!!!!
But I Guess the people like that must be pretty sad to spend that much on appearence!

I just laugh at the idiots paying 50 bucks for a t-shirt and 200 for some jeans that will be a) out of style, b) broken, c) ugly in a few months! I have the cash to shop at the mall, but my fav brand is Nobo, coincidently only sold at waly world!!!

I tend to be conservative in my purchases, and don't let anyone else's attitudes influence my decisions. For me, the thrill is in finding a great deal. I think it is irresponsible to pay top dollar for designer clothing (or cars, homes, etc.) when people in our own country are hungry and homeless and in need of clothing and education. My conscience would bother me if I did that. I don't understand why anyone would feel superior because they pay high prices for anything, really. Doing so only serves to feed their egos.

ME!

I can't stand that. It doesn't matter how expensive your clothes are. Because you don't have the $50 cap you're not a cool fella? Well m son can be cool for $15, thanks. That other $35 can be used for something else. It's what's INSIDE that matters. And that, I'm afraid, all comes down to what parents teach their kids...

It's really terrible. Especially when you see young children doing these things. As if these four year olds make one cent that goes towards their purchases. Children should be taught about what is truly valuable in life, and it isn't where you buy your clothes.

I got over being made fun of for where I shop long ago. and now I love being complimented on something I'm wearing and telling the other person that I bought it for $1.99 at a thrift store!!! Especially if they paid top dollar for it at a dept store!

To each it's own. People should wear what they like to wear and people shouldn't make comments on what others wear. They should voice out injustices and rudeness and praise good behavior. It's people's behavior that is the focus, not what they wear.

It is really superficial, but I've decided life is just too short for this petty kind of nonsence. I buy clothes that appeal to me, at a price that fits my budget, and to hell with the rest of it.
