They say there are 4000 chemicals in cigarettes. Do they all come from the tobacco plant? Are they added? If they are added, why? Why are cigarettes approved by the FDA?

No they are added for more addiction the nicotine they have to add less then a drop or if they add more it could kill a person who is about 200 pounds or more, there is sand and mothballs, rocket fuel, methane, and battery acid in the cigarettes but that is only a small bit of all of the nasty ingredients in cigarettes. And actually the FDA doesn't approve them i think they just let them go into stores and gas stations and the cigarette companies make as much as 30 times as McDonald's as well.

they are approved because the companies make too much money from them... the government only spends a portion of taxes to "prevent smoking" and still walk away with a huge profit off the sales of cigarettes. Yuck.
