As much as I admire what the protesters at the Hill of Tara are trying to protect what they fail to say is ..the current road by the Hill of Tara is already closer to the site then the proposed one will be, so should they are protested years ago!!!

Take a trip down there for the summer solstice its great craic. I think you have to put your name into a draw if you want to get into Newgrange for the winter solstice, but I'd imagine it would be spectacular to be there on the day

Them plums never had to drive the n3 on fri eve of a bank holiday. The motorway is well due . Time marches on things change , wish they would get over it. Unwashed hippies.

I agree with you. It is possible to avoid Tara altogether, and planners could easily still do this and have the motorway as well.
