No, that's dumb. It should be for recreation first, and if procreation happens, then it happens. Oh wait! That's how it is now!

Sex is absolutely not just for procreation. If sex was only for procreation then we would only want to do it when females ovulated and what fun would that be? More importantly it just feels too good to not want to do it.

Although when starting a relationship I think the kissing stage should be a good, long one because the kissing stage of a relationship is where all the excitement is. Once you've started a sexual relationship it's great, but it eventually becomes second nature. However, I still stand by my assertion that if sex didn't feel so good, we wouldn't bother with doing it.

Both obviously.

If you look at things anatomically, espcially in women, we have the only organ in the body created SOLEY for pleasure. It has over 8000 nerve endings more than 8 times that found in the penis.

Yet our clitoris is OUTSIDE the vaginal passage and most women cannot experience orgasm from penetration alone. This means that the pleasure function and procreation function was CLEARLY separated in our bodies.

The same applies to the male G spot located near the prostate. It has NOTHING to do with procreation, but it was put there for a reason obviously.

So as long as you are with a consenting adult, you are not betraying anyone or hurting them, go have fun!

Sex is both for procreation and for recreation but should not be abused and should be used as befitting humanity.

Yes, I believe God created sex for the purpose of procreation and made it pleasurable for us also. Sex is not for recreation! If it was then fornication would not be a sin. Sex is to be enjoyed within the confines of marriage between a MAN and a WOMAN.

No. It's for both procreation and full enjoyment. There many Christian and religious books then go into details on how the Word explains clearly both.

Uh, yeah. Although it's fun, the purpose of attraction and "mating" is to recreate, spread the seed, and so on. And actually the reason it feels good is so no matter what recreation will continue, people will keep on keepin on!

Personally I think for both. Or else why do we have pleasure in the act?
But then there's some cultures which disagree and think that women are forbidden any pleasure and to make sure of it cut and sew them. It is also supposed to give more pleasure to men.
Go figure.
