1. Are you one of those people when in an agruement, you'd want to be right and be the last one that says something?
2. If so, do you think that is a good way to communicate?

For weeks now I would settle arguments with my girlfriend by using the "Girls are always right" - card by not arguing back. Its gotten out of hand now. We had an agruement recently and with usual actions, she now thinks of me as an incompetent person who can't comprehend anything.

3. Shall I continue with this downward spiral by continually using the card ("believing" shes always right) Or shall I slap the ***** and go over ALL of the stupid things SHE would say and let her have It like: not knowing that you have to put bottles in the recycle bin not just paper, Osama bin ladin and Barack Obama are two different people, debit cards are different from credit cards, and to not give out your email address when filling out a form that asks for shipping address?

4. Is there anything ELSE I can do?

You know, sometimes girls will argue with you just to see if you got the spine to stand up for yourself -- the logic being that if you cannot stand up TO her, then you won't have the courage to stand up FOR her when the time comes.

You are right; now she thinks that you are a spineless coward.

You don't actually have to "win" an argument by forcing her to agree that you are right, but if you do disagree with her, you should have the courage to point out to her calmly that you think that she is wrong, and why, and then just drop the subject by agreeing to disagree (once you've made your point, why repeat yourself over & over again?).

Grow a spine. I bet that's what she really wants to see.

You'd be smarter just to pick the most important battles to fight...

Or just to make your life less stressful, drop the bimbo like a bad habit. You two argue too much!

Did she get out of junior high? It's time to take a stand, yes... but be gentle and go slow. She may not comprehend what's going on.
