Go to church/temple/mosque together once a week. Pray together. Talk about your beliefs with each other more.

You don't. Each person discovers a relationship with their Higher Power on their own. To push him to get closer will only alienate him further. Some folks don't believe in God because they've had bad experiences that they attribute to there not being one. And some have been pushed by right wing religiosity and are rebelling against organized religion, which is very different from having a spiritual perspective. Don't prothlesize to your boyfriend, but occasionally invite him to join you in your own spiritual activities. And, you probably need to ask yourself how important it is to you that your boyfriend share your religious views. If its really important then you need to discuss this with him and be willing to let him go if he doesn't want to convert to your way of thinking.

Assuming you are American Christians start by reading Gods love letter to you. ( The Bible ) Start in the New Testament and read every day together. Write down your thoughts and attitudes, watch how they change as God draws you to him. Oh and dont do things you know are wrong.

Pray to God to direct you, then go out and find a good, Spirit-filled Bible-teaching church, and get involved. See if they have some kind of youth ministry where you can get plugged in. Welcome to the Kingdom!

Going to church helps, but I don't think it depends on that. Talk about it together, pray together, and remember to live as Jesus taught us to - by treating each other as we would like to be treated.
