Life is death. When you die you experience all the pain in your life you never dealt with all at once. During life you experience the same pain, but drawn out.
We all live inside of the memories of others. This is our mental existence. Here we are defined by these memories. So everything that knew of your existence decides if you were good or bad. This is the afterlife. In the end, all will fade away and you will only be.

I look at death as a form of creation, not as an ending. I believe that the soul exists eternally, and that each life we live is just an experience, not the sum of our existance. So when our earthly bodies die, our true selves are free.

Yes, when I die I shall be in a sleep like state with my thoughts, character and heart (meaning my soul) in God's memory. ["Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.]
He will raise me up in the last day when Jesus returns to take His loved ones home with Him.
["Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Revelation 22:12. "The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, ... and the dead in Christ shall rise ... and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17. "We shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, ... and the dead shall be raised incorruptible. ... For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." 1 Corinthians 15:51-53.]
VERSES ABOUT US NOT KNOWING ANYTHING WHEN DEAD: "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." Ecclesiastes 12:7."So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep." "His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them." Job 14:12, 21. "Neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun." Ecclesiastes 9:6. The living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing. ... Neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun." Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6.

i'm nevertheless attempting to determine out existence after-beginning... a persons'' soul can go back, existence after existence, the guy, body, techniques, do no longer... i do no longer matter on any type of 'punishment' after demise...latest 'the following' is fairly punishment, sufficient...
