I will never believe in your imported, middle eastern holocaust god, on account of the fact that he blows, and has an unkempt, stupid ar se for a son, who needs a good old wash and disinfect. Even the thought of Jeebus is offensive to the rational mind

That is what you believe. Others do not believe that.
Here is a question. Lets say that a guy walks up to you on the street and tells you he is Jesus. He has a bunch of people with him. They all tell of the miracles that he has done that they have witnessed. The guy does nothing in your presence though. The only evidence of miracles comes only from what these biographers talk about. They have nothing to back up what they say. Also, the biographers cannot keep their story straight. One guy says one thing but is contradicted by another guy. So, here is the question. Would you believe that this guy is a god or a son of a god based solely on this? What if you had two different people show up and each with his own set of biographers and each making the same claim but both giving nothing to back them up? How would you choose which one was the right one?
You see, that is the problem. Atheists will look at both of the men and figure they are scammers or insane. Unless someone could actually prove that there was a supernatural power then atheists will not spend any time believing in it or trying to believe in it. Christians are a different matter. If the guy can present a good enough story and be charming enough, then he will find christians to follow him. It happens every day. There are plenty of people running around this planet claiming to be Jesus or the second coming or whatever and there are christians lining up to believe in them. Atheists can see thru this. You probably claim that you can see thru this. However, atheists see thru the entire story and realize that the religion thing is just something that man has made up and (although it is taking centuries) we are outgrowing it.

Many things are written, some on bathroom walls, but that does not make them true. I was brought up with a pastor grandfather. i saw errors in the bible at age 7. God does not exist, so he will never show me anything at all. I believe nothing anyhow. I insist upon knowing and not just believing. In the Bible, it is also written that pi is 3 in 2 places; that Jesus was born before 4 BC and after 6 AD, Judas died by hanging and by falling; both God and Devil inspired David's census; Joseph was 28 and 41 in descent from David; Jesus is both Messiah and Son of God; and many more such contradictions and scientific errors. All that stuff shows one cannot believe anything in the Bible.

Yeah, right.
And the world is going to end in 100 AD, sorry, we meant 1000 AD. Oops that should be 2000 AD. Actually it should be 2012 AD.
Just because some priest wrote it down does not mean that it i going to happen.

That's great, if he shows himself in an indisputable way... i'd be happy to change my way of thinking. Until then, he's just a figment of your primitive brain trying to comprehend yourpetty existance in a universe that you can't even begin to understand.
And correct me if i'm wrong....... but haven't cults been claiming the return of a messiah or the revealing of a god for thousands of years now? What makes your cult any more "right" than theirs were? Their gods never showed up...... why do you think yours is better? Because the bible says he is? I'm sorry to break it to you, but that line of reasoning is fundamentally flawed.

There are allot of things that have already been written.
Like the moon is made out of cheese, and Leprechauns guard pots of Gold, and that Christ will return to earth.
Written words have never equated to truth, and never will.

It may be true what you read but don't you think that for everyone the individual process of finding their own faith is important. Not everyone can follow without their own discovery.

Did I miss the whole thing in school where they teach you that, 'If it is written, it must be true'?
Anyway I can see how you would make that assumption. From your writing it seems like you are a total religious fanatic lunatic.
