he has does nothing wrong, but he has had a hard life, I do care for him but I do not love him, yet I cannot give him no indication, it would hurt him too much

I think I'd rather know. It'd be sad, but a loving relationship is a two-way deal. It one doesn't love the other, they should talk about it. Hey she might still stay after the talk, but it's best, although can be painful, to get it out into the open.

Girl, I told you this will happen didn't I. He's the weaker of you two, you're always having to protect him, I thought it was suppose to be the guy protecting the girl. where are his Ba**s?! He's got none, sooner or later you will find someone with all the passion and wit that will sweep you off your feet, it just not going to be with this guy. Aole Pilikia, oh wahine, aole aole, just wait, oni pa a, Nana ka maka; ho`olohe ka pepeiao; pa`a ka waha.

If I am getting sex out of the deal I'd rather her stay with me out of pitty. This way I get sex at home. I can always go out and find another woman who will appreciate me more, but if I could have sex with both my girlfriend and the girl who actually appreciates me I'd rather my girlfriend stays.

I would rather know the truth, no matter how difficult it may be to hear, than to have dishonesty.

Definitely break it off--it's better for both of you to move on to something better.

Third option: be honest and break it off, clean. He'll get over you.
