Yes I do....I love Christmas pudding and I do light the Brandy and bring it to the table...the trouble is the dining room was a fair way from the Kitchen so I had to put a lot of Brandy on to keep the flame going until I got to the table...I have moved to a smaller place now, so should be easier this year.

To do it properly you need to;-
1) Prick holes into the top of the upturned pud,
2) Put a sprig of holly into the pud,
3) Pour half a cop of good brandy over the hot pud,
4) Strike a light.
When all the brandy has burned off slice the pud and add your cream/sauce/brandy butter. Enjoy.

Yes, even though I think it's a dangerous idea after all the drinking people do during the Xmas dinner.

What an stunning element - you are able to relax assured that the well-being and protection nazis would be checking out for each gentle misdemeanour on that front - previous persons' residences would be a first-rate aim for them so they might all score some greater brownie factors for being so "vigilant" (via which I recommend poking their noses in the place they could be applicable left someplace else ! ! !)

I used to put brandy on it, but the one year we didn't it tasted much nicer.....so now we drink the brandy and eat the pud separately!
