The bible states the opposite. In Genesis it says everything God created was good.

Passage Isaiah 45:7:

7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

King James Version (KJV)

Of course, you know it's been changed in subsequent versions of the bible, as you are not the first person to ask this question and detractors of the faith have used this verse in argument against Christianity since bible first became mass produced and available for anyone to read on their own.

If you want to see how it's changed, just look at some of the other posts that say this verse isn't in the bible, or was a faulty translation. Or you can just go to http://bibleresources.bible.com/passagesearchresults.php?passage1=Isaiah+45%3A7&passage2=&passage3=&passage4=&passage5=&version1=9&version2=0&version3=0&version4=0&version5=0&Submit.x=23&Submit.y=7 , which is a Christian bible website (not an atheist one, so you can't say it's biased) and look through the different translations.

As you go through, you'll notice that most translations leave the scripture basically intact as posted above, but a few decided that the verse needed to be changed to reflect their own personal view of what must have been meant.

Edit: This is what the verse says in the original Hebrew scripture: http://www.mechon-mamre.org/p/pt/pt1045.htm

You can use this to verify all scriptures of the Old Testament. Have fun.

I just know that in Genesis, there's somewhere that kinda states that God looked at all that He had created and saw that it was good.
Have no idea about the bad though.. I've only gone as far Leviticus. Since reading the Bible I've come to realise that it is not in sequence... So I'll see as I go on.

God created the devil (who was a beautiful angel at first Ezekiel 28:14.) and he creates people he already knows will turn away from Him and do bad things (still he wants to give them life and a chance) but as for sin and evil deeds that are done, they come to be by our own choices or the devil, whose intent is to destroy us.

When you stand at the judgment bar you will answer for the things you have done in the body where they be good or bad. If you have believed and trusted in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross then you will stand at the Judgment seat of Christ and if you are a lost person you will stand at the great white throne judgment and then be cast into the lake of fire. 2 Corinthians 5: 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Revelation 20: 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

If god has good or bad idea, he will be no more god. If that bible written with the event, will be a false bible. The sin in the first chapter is to clarify sin or holly.

No where, it says he created man with free will, and free will turned out to be bad. So basically the bible is saying that independent thought is bad.

Paul wrote that God created ALL things, including principalites and powers, which he later says we fight against.

Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Things and people are not 'bad' in their creation, by may become bad in the exercising their agency.
