Yesterday, in Why Catholic, one of the members who has a degree in theology mentioned that the story of Creation was simply an ancient myth of the Babylonians, and the story of creation is simply the "why," and not the "how" the world came to be. And tradition explains that God cast Adam and Eve out for disobeying his orders, and listening to satan, and thats why we dont live without evil in our lives, since man willingly disobeyed god. Plus satan is a fallen angel who decided being a servant wasnt good enough for him, and rules hell.

The Bible is mainly about the "religious truths" meaning that many things are metaphorical. Look at the differences between the first and second stories of creation. In the first one, man is created last while in the second one, Man was created first but without anything around him. Also, in the first one, Light is created before the sun. Clearly, this is impossible.
The first story of creation comes from the Priestly source. The Priestly source was made to make stories kind of like a song. Hence the "and God saw that it was good" in every verse. also, God seems to be very far away.
The second story comes from the Yahwist source. It is basically just a narrative and it anthropomorphizes God.
Neither of them are false, though, if you want the religious truth. If you are looking for scientific proof or historical proof, don't look in the Bible because you won't find it.
Also, all religions have their ideas of creation, so it wasn't just Bablyonians that believed in creation as well.

They are the lineage of Jesus thats why the bible was made but before them others existed. Even when you see Cain and Abel meeting other people where did they came from? They were already there. Please remember that Jesus came fro a blood line of kings they had the priviledge to have books made

The Bible has the truth and not that particular member who is speculating, a degree does not entitle anyone to usurp the scriptures which are Gods holy word.
