ya, live it every day. I think you know that the closer that you get to God the harder the devil wants us . He is not interested in the non christian. I heard it best one time the devil is looking to tackle the guy running for the touchdown not the people who are not in the game. So keep on fighting the good fight sisters and brothers.

One of the sisters above, gave Ephesians 6:12, as a reference (thank you!). True, we Christians are misdirecting spiritual warfare if we are hostile toward unbelievers and / or Christians who don't believe just as we do. People, no matter what they believe, are not the enemy. My Self is my greatest enemy. If I can overcome myself, my desires, my mindsets, my weaknesses, my flaws, my flesh, I will do well. Remember that old cartoon: "We have seen the enemy, and he is us"? I am my own worst enemy. If I can conquer myself -- and activate self-control -- I will begin to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit. Until I have the fruit of the Spirit active in my life, I have no authority for warfare in spiritual realms. We Christians need to work on ourselves and to realize that Jesus died for people; who are we to condemn anyone? Not one of us is qualified to throw stones at anyone. John 3:17 says, "For God sent not his Son to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

Yes. Frank Peretti's "Peircing the Darkness" and "This Present Darkness" are two books that describe spiritual warfare in what I believe to be an accurate way (even though they are fictitious). They are a good read for anyone, Christian or not, and might help a non-Christian to see why we feel the way we do about certain things.

Yes, we are in a spiritual warfare. Our enemy is the prince of this world satan.
We're fighting everyday to stay Holy and shield ourselves from temptation. That's why it's so important to stay prayed up and attend church and listen to the Word given by the preacher, Minister and or Pastor.

it's a shame the word "warfare" is used at all when discussing belief. I think it's endemic of the exclusionary principles implicit in Christianity

No wonder I bought a gun the other day..... I knew it would come in handy with all the fundamentalist Christians talking about end times and warfare.....
Harry potter, spongebob and the world, is that enough?
So are you becoming more like the fundamentalist Muslims you claim are terrorists?
Because looks like your becoming terrorist too!
I'd like to see things from your point of view...I just can't get my head that far up my own ****.

Yeah.
The thing is, are we sure who we're fighting against?
Most of christianity seems to be clear who the enemy is but I believe were dupped as to exactly what it is.

Yes, I do. We are in the End Times as the Bible says we are. Shortly, we who are saved will be raptured.

yes Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
