i just got the role of the stupider step sister in cinderella. does anyone have any tips? should i use a more obnoxious voice or more dumb blonde ditsy?

I'd say that you should go with the obnoxious voice. If you go with "Dumb blonde ditsy" then you will find yourself falling into every single dumb blonde stereotype that exists. It's already been done many, many, many times and it won't be as interesting. What would be really cool would be if you were able to do an obnoxious character who likes to think that she's a girly, dumb blonde sort. But she can't even pull that off properly. It would give you a little bit more depth to play with, with the character and could be really funny.

id say none of the two!! dumb blondes are usually pretty and the sisters in cinderella are ugly!! id go for like a redneck kinda girl like with the yockel accent

i wouldn't exactly go with the ditzy blonde only because it's been done like a million times. why not try to go geeky? like the Roger and Hammerstein's Cinderella with Brandy as Cinderella Collipe was geeky she had this stupid laugh that would end with snorts.

Try both it could really show your talent. Always try to spice things up when you are acting because its not you the audience is looking at, its the step-sister.
I did it in Romeo and Juliet I was the Nurse and I gave her an Australian accent.
