There are more females in the AF than in other branches, but the ratio is still more men than women. 4-1 would be right...but it would be 4 men for every 1 woman!

No, the percentage of females in the USAF is about 17%.

So 1 in 5.

But females are generally grouped in specific afsc's.

So they are not spread evenly among all afsc's.

You will generally find more females in medical or administrative fields, than in maintence or security fields.

No, that is not true. There are more females in the Air Force than in some of the other service branches, but it certainly isn't that high.

Not even close. There are a lot more girls in the air force than other branches, but they are still out numbered by quite a lot.

Its pretty high but not that high..a lot more females do join the air force.
