I would say tread lightly but still go out with him. Don't listen to what other people say about him. Go out and get your own opinion of him. Even if it doesn't work out then at least you will know for yourself.

Do you mean flirting when you say stalking? Go out with him and avoid the pitfalls of a player. (Keep your legs closed, don't even kiss him goodnight except on a cheek!) .....now this is only if you want to attempt a relationship with him. (If it's only about having fun, then do what you want.) Take it as slow as possible. If he's a player then he'll move on because he isn't getting what he wants as quick as he wants it, but if he becomes into you and takes it slow with you developing a relationship, then he's not a player and really likes you for you and can turn into a keeper!

Here's another question to ask yourself: Can you risk not getting to know this guy, who for all you know may be the nicest and most loyal guy in the world, due to some rumors you've heard?

Unless you know this rumor to be true from witnessing it yourself, I say give the guy a chance. At the same time, be careful. The rumor could very well prove to be true, so don't fall in love with the guy, or put yourself in a position that you'll regret, before you know for sure what kind of guy he is.

If you like him go out with him and have a good time! What you've heard and what's true might be two different things.
but I suppose there's no smoke without fire.
So, keep that in you head and take it s l o w l y, even if he really turns up the charm.
(If he's just after one thing he'll soon get bored and give up quickly).
Good luck hun and have funx

Here is a guy's point of view:

Go out with him, yes! But...under no circumstances should you sleep with him. No matter how much you want to, don't do it. And don't talk about it either. Make sure your date is full of flirting and innuendo rather than action. Make him want to ask you out again.

As a guy, girls who give it up on the first date are fun...but not respectable. He will always associate you as the girl who he slept with immediately. If you make him wait it out and prove himself then you will know how genuine his feeling are. (But you can't tell him this is what you're doing or else he will feel challenged---and he will wait you out just to sleep with you)

If you want to go on the date with him, then go. However, keep in mind that he has a reputation as a “ladies man” and don't get to invested or interested in him. Go with the expectation to just have a good time, if it ends up as more then that, then it's a bonus!

Dont turn him on. being a guy I know what will go through his mind. Wear somthing pretty, but modest. Dont wear to much perfume or jewelry. i heard a wise man once say "If a girl wanted to wear perfume to impress a guy she would wear somthing that smells like meatloaf!". Im serious, being modest will get the guy's mind off your body and on to who you are.

Life is about taking chances. If you're gut is telling you to go for it, then by all means...do it.

Your best advice is to be yourself. I mean, seriously. Listen to me. The best thing in a relationship is when someone loves you for WHO YOU ARE, not someone you think they'll like. Have fun!

Good luck!

give the bloke a chance people say's things and it might not be true but if he tries it on first night say no your not that type of girl and he will respect you maybe he had been out with easy girls takes two to tango so give him a chance you can always dump him if you don't like him.

If you have to ask what you should do the answer is no. When in doubt...Don't do it! If you do decide to go ahead with the date don't let him touch you, it will only hurt worse if he cheats on you.
