The days of through trains from everywhere to everywhere are long since gone. I've not checked whether there ever was a through train from Folkestone to Wolverhampton. There used to be 'Sunny South Expresses' from the Midlands to various parts of Kent, but they only ran a few days in each year .You have to look at the economics - you maybe one alone or one of only a few wanting to make that particular journey on that particular day - it is just not worth running a train for one or two people.
