which mythology produces the closest thing to something that would qualify as proof.

I know we are splitting hairs here between .0000000000001 and 0. but still just curious as to what you LOGICALLY think presents something closest to bieng what would pass for reliable.

The places and people in the Iliad and the Odyssey have way more independent confirmation than those in the bible.

Hence the Greek gods are more believable than the myths in the bible.

In the story of Prometheus they had species similar to man but not quite man that existed before us and were killed in several acts of genocide.

The men of God, silver, bronze and Iron.

We are Iron, they said all the other species before us were wiped out, there is more evidence to back that up than some creation stories.

Scholars aren't afraid to class the Bible as Abrahamic or Semetic Mythology.

That's what it is.

Mythology doesn't mean fiction, though.
