Probably most of the attributes we think are good in the Christian religions. Just because we don't believe in God, doesn't mean we don't believe in the same attributes associated with God.
And the question says "IF you believed in a higher being," not what higher being do you believe in. Read the question next time people. You make us look really stupid.

I don't believe in a higher being but if I had to choose one..... I would choose my mother. She can make me listen to her still, and she can do it just by looking at me! And I always wonder how she will react before I make a decision, kind of like people who follow religion do with their God. Mom's are powerful! LOL!

Complete indifference to the fates of humans.
I cannot imagine an all-powerful deity caring at all about the day to day adventures of us puny mortals. Moreover, the amount of consistent interfering it would take to micromanage six billion people would be staggering.

I don't understand the question.
What sort of higher being? Higher how, you mean standing at a higher elevation? An alien? What?
There are no 'higher' beings. Its impossible even in principle. Its utter nonsense. Do you even listen to yourself?

I'm sorry, I really don't get the question: If I believed in something I don't believe in, what would that thing be like?
Maybe if you had explained it.
How would I know what a non-existent thing would be like if it did exist?

For me to believe in it, I'd have to have evidence that it existed and was "higher" (whatever that means). It would possess whatever attributes it possessed. I wouldn't be able to select the attributes.
Are you asking what attributes I'd LIKE it to possess? If so, then all of the ones God is supposed to have, but mine would ACTUALLY have them. Especially omnibenevolence.
