You get a vet to check on the health of the puppy (tho how t his relates to the category CATS - I can never figure out...) and use the appropriate drops for the puppies age and weight.

You can try anti-flea shampoo and a flea collar - but some animals are overly sensitive to the collars and will break out (rare but it DOES happen).

If you can see the fleas with the naked eye - it should be done by a groomer or vet and you follow on with anti-flea treatment after that. Since the infestation will have progressed to a potentially unhealthy level.

NEVER use dog anti-flea products on cats - unless you want to risk serious health issues or at worst a fatal injury.

You go in to a vets for some proper flea treatment, like Frontline Spray if the pup is under 8 weeks old, it can be used on puppies from 2 days of age.

You do not bath, or use anything from a pet store.

How old is the puppy? Bathing it will work but read directions on flea sprays, collars, powders, and the liquids that go between the shoulder blades. Some products will burn the animals skin. Personally I prefer to bathe them and use a flea collar.

give it a bath with dawn dish detergent, you will see the fleas literally fall of the puppy.

Buy this cream at Petsmart and put it on the back of there neck. Also, if it scratches near its neck it might not be a good idea. Go to your doctor to prevent scabs.
