We went to a party last Saturday and I was real original... I dressed as a witch. Not really a costume, ha. My husband went as a cross between a badass biker and Captain Spaulding from House of 1000 Corpses (he looks a LOT like that character, in or out of makeup).

I am Wicca/witch and will probably be either a gypsy or witch depending on if I have time this year. I like to make my own costumes but since we just moved, I haven't had the chance to make anything yet! And NO IT IS NOT SATAN'S day! It is the day to honor our ancestors and celebrate the end of harvest! Wish people would get it straight! Wicca and witches do not have anything to do with the Christian Satan nor does Halloween! SHEESH!

I am a Witch, and I will probably just put on my cloak while I escorte my siblings around for trick or treating. Then do a simple ritual, or meditate with the Goddess. FYI:Witches have nothing to do with Satan, because only those of the Judeo-Christian faith believe he actually exists.
Goddess Bless.
Blessed Be.

When you're an atheist married to and surrounded by Christians, every day is Halloween.
Edit: I'll probably dress up like my avatar while spouting famous religious cliche's as I pass out candy, like "The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away!"

I'm dressing up as a tiger. I suppose my religion has something to do with my costume. I'm Christian, but a few years back I dressed up as a witch. I wouldn't wear a costume like that now, only cute characters. :)

No. In my religion we aren't allowed to celebrate any holidays that relate to non Muslims. We only have two holidays Eid Al Fitr which is the first three days of Shawwal and Eid Al Adha which is after Hajj in Dhul Al Hajj.

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I have this beautiful wizard cloak (heavy black cotton with an applique border) and a wig (includes the beard). As an accent, I'll be sporting a scepter topped with a golden cobra head (its hood flared out).
Neither my costume nor my decorations have symbols which could be mistaken as satanistic or overly Pagan.
This costume has nothing to do with Mormonism.

I'm not going trick or treating, but I'm gonna be a school girl. I've got a pink and brown plaid skirt, a white tank top and some chuck taylor low tops. I'm gonna do pigtails and lots of eyeliner. It's the hotness. I might take pictures.

I'll be taking my son Trick-or-Treating, but I don't know if I'll dress up, myself. If I did, I'd probably go as the nefarious Skeleton Guy (the villain I always end up playing when I play Lego's with him), provided I can find a purple fright wig...
