I certainly AM!
When I die, I'm gone. I won't need my body any more, that's for sure. Won't need my liver, heart, kidneys, skin, eyes, etc. Why should I hang onto them? Why should I refuse them to those in need?
If I can do one thing by dying, I want it to be aiding in the continued life of another.

Not yet! You have to DIE to donate your organs and tissues, but I have signed a donor card. Why not? I won't be needing the organs or tissues after I'm dead. If someone else can use them then wonderful!

Yes! When my soul passes, I will not need my body or the organs I have. If on Earth I try to make the lives of others better and improve the quality of life in those around me, why not continue that after I'm gone. Anything left over is to be cremated and the ashes sprinkled on the flowers beds of my families choice... that way I can be useful fertilizer and continue to make the world a more beautiful place.

No, although I like the idea of leaving something behind that would help someone else I honestly just "feel" that it's wrong. I know that sounds stupid but I can't come up with a good reason besides that I want to be kept whole when I'm put in the earth, not butchered and divied up like a cow.
Selfish I know, but something I haven't gotten past just yet.

I am immune to Hep C but the antobodies my body produces make screening tests read as positve even though I di not and have never had the virus as far as anybody can tell me. (tested several times with different methods)
As a result even if I signed the card they would not use any of my organs. Even blood donations would be rejected in the screening process.

Yes. Because when I die I wont need those any more and if I can save another human beings life by donating them then I would prefer that. I do being in an afterlife so I feel I would know that I saved anothers life.

I wish I could be. I have lupus, so my organs and blood are unusable (too many antibodies). I have received blood so I am grateful to anyone who has given of themselves in this way. My husband and son give blood at least 4 times a year.

Of course! I won't be using my organs or tissue. Of course the joke will be on the receiver when s/he finds out whose organs and tissue s/he's getting.

Yes I am. It's a way to keep giving even after I am gone. I won't need them anymore, it's the least I can do.
