She is 10,000 plus 10 percent wrong.
God did not create these wonderful creatures with no soul.
Of course they have a soul and they do go to heaven.
She needs to look deep into the eyes of her pets and see what is there....it sure ain't nothingness.
Get a clue shaundawn

All dog have different personalities so why do people think they don't have souls. They know the difference between right and wrong but wrong is what that particular owner defines as wrong. Also since heaven is supposed to be the most wonderful place you can imagine I think if a person wants dogs to be there then there will be dogs.
Although I had someone I work with tell me the other day that he thinks we will be so amazed at being in the presence of God that we won't care about anything else and won't worry about seeing family that we've lost or finding pets that have died. I don't know if I agree with this but I thought I would add another perspective.

The Bible does not give any specific teaching on whether pets / animals have “souls” or whether pets / animals will be in heaven. However, we can take some general Scriptural principles and shed some light on the subject. The Bible states that both man (Genesis 2:7) and animals (Genesis 1:30; 6:17; 7:15,22) have the breath of life. The primary difference between human beings and animals is that man is made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Animals are not made in the image and likeness of God. Being made in the image and likeness of God means that human being are like God, capable of spirituality, with mind, emotion, and will - and - have an aspect of being that continues after death. If pets / animals do have a “soul” or immaterial aspect, it must therefore be of a different and lesser "quality." This difference probably means that pet / animal “souls” do not carry on after death.
Another factor to consider in this question is that God did create animals as a part of His creative process in Genesis. God created the animals and said they were good (Genesis 1:25). Therefore, there is no reason why there could not be animals on the new earth (Revelation 21:1). There will most definitely be animals during the millennial kingdom (Isaiah 11:6; 65:25). It is impossible to say definitively whether some of these animals might be pets we had while here on earth. We do know that God is just and that when we get to Heaven we will find ourselves in complete agreement with His decision on this issue, whatever it may be.
What ever the case what you belive is what you belive.
If you want your dog to go he will go.

Souls are made up of Love, personalities, characteristics, emotions etc. I do believe that 'all dogs go to Heaven', and all cats do, and every other animal out there. I believe that there is a place for them. Whether it be with us, or somewhere different and safe.
My three cats have such great personalities, and characteristics, and they are so loving. I will continue to believe that my animals will be with me forever. Crazy to some I know, but to me that's how I feel.
So therefore, I think that person is wrong in saying that animals have no souls like humans. They have souls. They definitely don't have brains like us humans, but they are kind and loving just as a human is. Of course that is if you are raised that way.

I would like to believe that when I die my animals will be waiting there for me. It's whatever you want to believe, if she doesn't then that's her choice, depending on how religious you are some religions believe that animals do not have souls and therefore do not go to heaven. If that's the case then heaven will not be a heaven without my pets there.

I don't belive that anyone, dogs or humans go to heaven except for a # specified in the bible as 144,000. The rest of us who are good people will wait unconsious in the grave untill God resussects us to a perfect paradise earth. To me that sounds a lot better then heaven. What would we do up there? Besides, on earth we will still be able to play with all the puppies and kitties and animals we want to, forever!

First of all, you can leave your dog outside all year round. That's what dog houses are for and believe me, your dogs likes it outside in the yard more than couped up in the house for 8 hours while you are at work. Make the dog house an inviting place with straw and ceder chips. And don't know if shaundawn1723 has a fence in their back yard or not, but unless you have a place that can accommodate a dog, you don't deserve to have one.
Secondly no one should love their dog more than an immediate family member. That's why they are called dogs, not brothers and sisters.
Lastly, I hope that there is a doggy heaven because dogs do have souls and they only have about 10-12 years here on earth.

I think that many people deny that animals have souls, feelings etc so they don't have to answer for how they treat animals.
I don't believe that animals need "salvation", since they do what God created them to do, and they do it perfectly. A dog fulfills its dog-calling in life, etc. But if having a "soul" means being able to feel love, affection, and remember people from one year to the next without seeing them, and even to remember not to trust someone who has abused them, then yes, animals have souls.
My mother's dog remembered me even tho I didn't visit for three years. She knew I was "the cookie lady", and that I liked to sit in *her* favourite chair! She liked the cookies but you could see she was mad when I would sit in the chair; and if I laughed, she would act sooo disapproving.
The Bible says that there is a sparrow in Heaven, nesting on the altar of God. So there must be other animals too.

Sounds heartless to me!. Everything has a soul! hasnt she seen all dogs go to heaven sheesh. thats a little harsh to say to someone. Depending on the size of the dog ... It really depend on if they can be left outside or not... You need to take your mom to church she needs Jesus. lol And your dad sounds like he has the right idea. You cant let someone elses ignorance get the best of you . You are smarter than that.

If having a soul means to feel love and give love, to feel pain and show emotion then I'd say dogs are as likely to go to heaven as many humans.

read into the question.......shaundawn1723 seems like she doesnt know what REAL love is....i mean her mom loves the dog more then the dad and she loves her dad more then her mom.....so there isnt a constant love in the family. no wonder she is confused about life. She needs love!!! so lets love on shaundawn and not hate on her......big hugs......NOBODY on this earth knows if there REALLY is a heaven or hell or even both......so who is to judge anyone on the way someone thinks or beliefs.
