If you are talking about the story in the bible, Jesus was saying why should you judge someone an put forth a so called holier than thou image when you too sin. It had nothing to do with who would throw the stones, but whither they should judge others or not when they too sinned! In otherwords don't judge others and claim to be better unless you can prove it!

There will be NO stonings - Not on my watch sonny!

Sorry - got a bit carried away!

It means that there should not be any stonings - as every one is a "sinner" in some way!

So don't blame unless you are totally blameless!

WORD!

Only Jesus never sinned. Oh, except he did lie a couple times like when he said we could move a mountain, or that he would answer any prayers that we had. I think that's it though. Wait, oh and committing cross-suicide as a self sacrifice. Just those things... so yeah, it would be Jesus throwing the stone... YAY!

This is a parabyl in the Bible that makes people think before they cast a stone, they better check thierselves first, because there is noone that is not a sinner, except The Lord.

1) yes

2) yes

3) The point was to show that none of the woman's accusers were any better that she was.

All are sinful and have no right to self-righteously punish someone else. The woman was being singled out for her actions while the man involved was ignored.

Just remember....there is a difference between speaking the truth and 'throwing the first stone' (which essentially is to judge the heart).

Sin is the breaking of a religious law . Atheists do not sin . There could have been a few non-believers there .

Your logic is sound, the conclusion: "Don't throw stones."
