"Iver" Johnson made (2) 44 Magnum Models (Colt Clones) in the early 80's
The "Cattleman Magnum and the Buckhorn Magnum. They came in 4 3/4",5 1/2" and 7 1/2" Barrel lengths, Case Hardened Receivers,Blued Barrels and Brass frames...
Both of these guns were actually made in Italy under contract with Iver Johnson, and they were discontinued in 1984.......
The difference between the two was the Cattleman Magum had Fixed Sights, and the Buckhorn Magnum had Adjustable Sights.... I own one of each of these and although they are not a valuable gun, for a brass framed Italian manufactured gun they shoot accurately.
Values of these guns aren't high as any used Italian Colt "Clone" never are. The Cattleman Magnum in excellent condition is worth about $250 (max) and the Buckhorn Magnum about $275 in excellent condition...
NOTE* These particular firearms wern't ever affiliated with Dan Wesson Arms......

These guns were made a long time ago and are hard to find. Iver Johnson had Dan Wesson make the gun and it was called "The Crusader". Dan Wesson also made a .357 for Iver Johnson called "The Sentinel". These were just Dan Wesson guns with someone else's name on them. It is just like what the rifle and shotguns companies used to pull with Sears and JCPenny.
Correction: High Standard sold the Sentinel and Crusader double-action revolvers manufactured by Dan Wesson. My memory failed me this time.
JDs answer is correct.
