To all Muslims, we pray 5 times a day, fast, give charity, try to be good, modest, chaste, honest, non alchoholic, faithful, patient, but Allah(God) still give us difficult tests in this world? Any inspiring advises from Muslims from hadiths or Quran? God revealed In the Quran : Prophet Jacob, peace be upon him, said when he lost his 2 sons, "O my sons! go ye and enquire about Joseph and his brother, and never give up hope of God's Soothing Mercy: truly no one despairs of God's soothing Mercy, except those who have no faith."

Well, we believe in Jesus, but not as a God, but as a prophet like all prophets that came before him, and prophet Muhammad, was the last of all prophets(May peace and blessings be upon them all.). God, the creator, of the universe and man, revealed in the Quran "Say, He is God, the One and Only, God, the Absolute One. He begets not, Nor is he Begotten. And none is like Onto Him."

I realised there are so many primitive people who hasnt travelled to Muslim countries. Please I invite all those who are talking strangely about beheading and sadists, and all sorts of nonsense about Muslim countries, to go to Muslim countries especially Dubai, U.A.E., and Malaysia. There are so many non Muslims walking and living peacefully and happily. If there are no rules, then human beings are just equal to animals. Dont you know there are no rules in the jungle?

Do you suppose that you will enter Heaven while Allah has not yet caused to be distinguished those of you that strive in the way of Allah and has not yet caused to be distinguished the steadfast.
Do you think that you will enter heaven while there has not come to you the like of that which came to those who passed away before you? Poverty and afflictions befell them and they were violently shaken until the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, 'When will the help of Allah come?' Yea, surely the help of Allah is nigh.
And when an affliction befalls man, he calls upon his Lord, turning penitently to Him. Then, when He confers upon him a favour from Himself, he forgets what he used to pray for before, and starts assigning rivals to Allah, that he may lead people astray from His way. Say, 'Profit from thy disbelief a little; while in the end thou art, surely, of the inmates of the Fire.'
They are only the true believers whose hearts tremble when the name of Allah is mentioned, and when His Signs are recited to them they increase their faith, and who put their trust in their Lord.

Salaam brother.
All suffering strengthens you. When we are fasting, we are building the strength to deny ourselves food and drink and build the control to be able to NOT TO EAT, even when we are hungry. If you think about it, ease in life makes you weak, when hardship strengthens you and builds you the ability to fight back diseases as well as gives you more self control.
When we are being chaste, we do not get the pain of divorces, aids, STDs and keep our society stable, our children do not have to choose between a mom or the dad, our families are not torn apart.
When we are non-alchoholic we avoid having unjust fights with our spouses, we avoid having car accidents, we avoid doing stupid mistakes that can make us regret for a long time for having done something under the "influence".
When we are honest, people trust us and we are valued more than those who are dishonest. None of these things help Allah in any way. Just us.
If you think about it, even death is not really that bad a deal. Everyone dies one day. When you lose the fear of death, you live a more full life. When you lose someone in your family you are content that they are in a better World than you and I.
This life comes to an end, regardless of how good it is. Islam teaches us to have a bit of distance from the joys of life, so when we go, we go without regrets if we truly live an Islamic life. This state of mind actually improves your life much more!
When you look at the combination of all of the above, you can see, that one can have a much fuller life, as hardships become easy with practice and surely when you are in constant touch with Allah, we have no fear, no worries and no hopelessness, as you know your Protector is Merciful!!
I hope this makes sense to you? Peace.

God uses our redemptive suffering in order to transform us into Holy people for heaven. God is "sculpting" us into beautiful statues for heaven through all of life's trials and tribulations. Take heart and believe in God. God bless.

Mohammed's concept of God is altogether too much like John Calvin's.
A spoilsport who stacks the deck against his people and then condemns them for losing.
Come on over to the REAL God. Jesus' sacrifice satisfies for your human failings and lacks. And His example is one you CAN follow.

Aren't those things just ingredients to being a good human being? What's god got to do with it?

I am Muslim myself. I shall try to find answers for you in Quran and Hadith. Problem is by the time I shall find the answer, I will have hard time finding where your question will be on R&S. . Because in every 10-15 minutes questions are moved to back pages and it is often difficult to find them again later.
I am a devoted Muslim at age 64. You can trust me and contact me through my e-mail in my profile.
From the top of my head my answer would be that more difficult test we Muslims go through, and as we pass the tests, Allah rewards us with higher and higher level of Jannah. Like Ibrahim Aleh Assalam passed the test of sacrifice of his first born son Ismael. He passed the test and Allah gave him the title of Khalilullah which means Friend of Allah. Ibraim Aleh Assalam was the most patient Prophet. He didn't question Allah why should I kill my own son you gave me in my very old age. Because he believed (as we all Muslims are supposed to believe) that children belongs to Allah and give us when you wants and can take them back when he wants. That is why we Muslims are taught to say when Allah take back any of our loved one
"Inna Lillahe Inna Wa Elahe Rajioon" ( we all come from God and go back to God)
Ibrahim is also the great grand grand father of Prphet Mohammad SAW as well as of many Jewish prophets to Bani Israel. His wife Sara was the 2nd most beautiful woman God ever created. Hawa (Eve) wife of Adam and mother of all humanity was the first most beautiful woman. God made and on 3rd # was Aasia wife of Pharoh who raised Moses and gave him the love of mother in royal palace.
When Moses got freedom of all Jews under slavery of Pharohs of Egypt Aasia his second mother went with him to Jerusalem leaving her Palace life. I haven't read if she made it to Jerusalem or died in the harsh climate of desert on the way being old lady. Moses himself died before he could reach Jerusalem.
May Allah guide us all to the right path.
Wasslam, A. Majeed

Weird isn't it, creating you here and making strange rules and asking you to follow them even though most people don't and then if you break them and caught you can get killed by your government and if not you die anyway and get punished eternally...sadistic huh?

To get to Jinnah. Remeber this life is only a test and will not last forever. God put us and the Jinn on Earth to worship him in Islam. It is to Jinnah that we should focus on not on material worldy gains or aims. Jinnah should be our ultimate goal. ALLAH(SWT) is testing our faith in HIM. To find out who are true believers and who are the disbelievers.
