You Christians know so little, and you go almost completely by feeling.... Whose to say that your feeling is wrong?

Whose to say that you are not deceived and that Islam or Judaism or even Satanism is not the truth?

Perhaps your beliefs are erroneous and are leading you down a delusional path of destruction?

Who can say?

The Bible?? What if it's a lie?

Ha! I used to say those same things! You should look at non-Christian sources on those same topics!! Soon, you'll see that you are just wrong.

Jesus never even existed, my friend!

No - not feeling. My feelings are a result of looking at facts, and then basing my faith on those facts and living it.

I'll start with 4. The Bible could be untrue. There are things to consider though. We need to consider the detailed fulfilled prophesies of the Bible. We need to consider who Jesus really was - He was either God, or a total loon. We need to consider that total loons don't usually predict they will die, rise in 3 days, and then actually do that. We need to consider that the Bible was written over thousands of years with different authors who all agree on lots of controversial topics.

I trust God more now, because I've trusted God in the past. Things totally didn't go the way I planned and I was really sad, but after it was all done, it turned out WAY better than if it went my way.

John - thanks for the tip. I have looked at non-Christian sources as well as Christian sources. I've talked with Atheists and read an Atheist magazine for awhile. I've looked at websites claiming some false Bible prophecies and Bible discrepancies, but when I looked closely, they were incorrect (they didn't understand the Bible passage, or didn't read the text closely). I plan on reading some of Dawkin's books soon. Have you read Josh McDowell's books? They're pretty good for the Christian side of the story and they've been updated since they first came out. Have a nice day!

i start in the name of ALLAH the ALL-ENCOMPASSING, CREATOR of mankind, jinnkind, and satan.

the way i know that i can trust GOD is knowing that HE is GOD. this is something we know out of instinct naturally placed in us by HIM.

first off, GOD dosen't lie. if somehting u believed to be god did, then that thing would not be god. lying means finding a way around the truth. GOD dsoent need to make excuses or find a way around anything, GOD makes all realities.

infact ALLAH did put us in a matrix reality. we muslims know that this world is but a shadow and illusion. this place is a place of evolution for mankind and jinnkind (demons, unseen spirits). this place is a testing ground. ALLAH made us with dual natures, both good an evil and gave us free will. but GOD said to choose the good. that is what is expected of us.

GOD(ALLAH) is the REALITY. so knowing this all encompassing TRUTH in which we exist is surely a joy for us humans and demons. as we march forth we discover things in the infinite sretch. that makes us feel good. theres nothing wrong with this. in fact it is totally justified if we realize the truth i.e. knowing GOD makes us feel good.

the bible is untrue lol. parts of it is true as they are messages of ALLAH to prophet isa peace be upon him.thats jesus. when the followers of christs message became a threat to those pagan romans the emperor constatine said hey thats a threat i gotta subdue these monotheists. so he ruined the message by mixing it with pagan beliefs. the christianity u see today is actually a farce. it is advised that we look into the council of nicea and see the truth of it.

i really appreciate the developers of this site to set up this q&a thing. it is a way that is much appreciated by ALLAH because it allows pure movement and sharing of ideas. thank you very much u guys.
i dont use my yahoo mail cuz i dont have yahoo messenger. but if anyone wishes to keep in touch with me id be extremely happy to correspond with them. my email is twoleggedwonder@hotmail.com.

before i go today, id like to leave you guys with a small story we hear in the islamic traditions:
ibrahim (abraham) once had a poor beggar over to his house as a guest. he invited the man and said please eat o your hearts content. then a very wierd thing happened. ibrahim alyehsalam noticed that the beggar did not start his meal with the name of ALLAH. so he kicked the guy outta his crib.
later on ALLAH spoke to ibrahim alyehessalam and abrogated him. ALLAH(GOD) said... he may be a disbeliever but that is none of ur concern. the food i give to u all is everyones right whether u believe in ME or not.
so ibrahim aleyhessalam invited the man again and made sure the man ate to his hearts content.

They are willing to take the gamble that it is true. They just aren't willing to admit their odds.
