Most definitely.
Jesus said at Mathew 6:12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Mathew 6:14 “For if YOU forgive men their trespasses, YOUR heavenly Father will also forgive YOU; 15 whereas if YOU do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will YOUR Father forgive YOUR trespasses.
Mathew 18:21 Then Peter came up and said to him: “Lord, how many times is my brother to sin against me and am I to forgive him? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus said to him: “I say to you, not, Up to seven times, but, Up to seventy-seven times.
1 Cor 13:5 Love does not keep account of the injury.

Forgiveness if a Christian thing, not a Wiccan thing. We simply accept the fact that the loved one made a mistake and move past it. Forgiveness is irrelevantand, to me infers That the forgiveness cancels out the wrong. As a Wiccan, it is so much easier to just recognize that a mistake has been made. If the person recognizes that and has learned something from it then what is there to forgive? the hurt done to me? I can only BE hurt if I allow that to happen. I don't so therefore there's nothing to forgive.

yes, if they asked for forgiveness and were truly sorry, acknowledging what they did. I would be more cautious about trust, depending on what had happened, but I would forgive. The way I forgive others is to remember the worst things I have done, the things for which I would need forgiveness.

Forgiveness is actually letting go of the ........(act)......................
that you "presume" someone did to "you"
What happens if you don't forgive.
You will suffer, the other person has moved on, you suffer from holding onto the "bitterness". Your body will suffer, your relationships will suffer, your future will suffer.
Forgiveness is in effect better for you to do, than not to do.
You presumes you have a choice here, there is no sane choice other than to forgive.
Forget it, absolutely, and get on with life.
Life with unforgiving in it, is so ugly.
Forgiveness every timeto everyone
Not just loved ones, why would you want your life./body/self/future to "suffer" because of an "unloved" one.??.
It is a gift to self.
Get real, get over it, move on, love living your life.
Peace in the heart

Forgiveness is a part of life.
If you cannot forgive, you will end up being a bitter old man.

I always forgive. But, depending on what happened, I may not want that person around me anymore.

Sure. Forgiveness is something we do for ourselves, though, not for those seeking it.
