Okay, I know someone in class that likes me, because he would always try to sit by me and we would do our classwork together. He always give me weird stares too, smiling all the time. I can tell this boy likes me, but whenever I do, I tend to hold my feelings back for some reason. I like this boy too, but I am a bit shy and I don't know how to show my feelings or at least become friends with him. Right now all we are is really good classmates. So advice anyone???

Be yourself. Many people are afraid to tell other people about their feeling, but as the same time they want to give the other person the right signal. If you like the boy, show that you are happy to be with him, smile to him and talk to him more. Usually people get close by talking to each other….begin with some question with class work and into some personal things…such as what kind of music you listen to, what kind of book you like to read or what do you like to do at home, etc. Then, he’ll knows that you don’t dislike him, and he probably will ask you to do something together after school, and all you have to say is yes……

You could ask him how he feels about you, Or why he smiles at you all the time to open things up. You have to be willing to step outside your safety zone. That's hard when your a little shy, been there myself, but I had to if I wanted to connect with girls at all . Same for you and guys, Only you can answer why you hesitate , But if you want more, you have to do more. And it will not be as bad as you think because everyone has doubts, about your feelings. Will you get hurt by speaking up? Will you say something wrong? I had to do this and you do to. I was so surprised when the words came out ,they were the right words and I wasn't struck dead either. I say dont hold ur feelings back i know u probably r scared to get hurt but its life u only live once its all about taking chances in life ...but instead of just being classmates try making friends ull get to know him a lot more

i have that same fear a lot of times its hard to let ppl into your life for the fear of being hurt. I would talk to him and see what he feels about the situation and it can progress from there just take things slow so you get comfortable with him and you will see yourself open up to him and he may even be the one to show you feelings first

you know... the fact that you are shy is simply part of life. but he fact that he hangs out with you all the time and smiles at you doesn't mean he likes you that way. i'm a guy, and i do that same thing with one of my frinds who is a girl all the time. but i don't have a crush on her or like that way or anything. He could just consider you one of his best friends the same way i feel about that one girl.

I say ask him out...like to a movie or something, i been in a similar situation, and i regret not doing anything about trust me, i knew he liked me and i liked him too but i didn't do anything about and then he found another girl and fell so in love with her...so don't hold back and go for it.
