Robots and Armageddon?

Question

With all of the technology we have now, robots being able to identify everybody with a numberal code (if you think you are not take a look at your doctors documents on you, there is a patient number!) do you think the end times are near? Do you think that soon the antichrist (the creator of the robots I guess) I will begin to take over the world, because in Revelations it says (Chapter 13 16-17) "He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or forehead so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or number of his name."
You could continue in verse 18: "This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666."

DO you think the fact that we are all numbers to your governments is a sign of armageddon? Do you think He is comming soon? What other signs has there been of the end times comming soon?

For an observation, I would suggest the origional Martix movie, for the carnal. Neo's flight is one of what a christian should experience.

Most are born into bondage and we do not even realize it. We are slaves to wages and sin. There is One that can set you free, the man Jesus Christ.

Everything we buy now is marked with UPC. If one would study the bar code you would realize that the number of the beast is on them. The fist bar value is equal to the last bar value and the large UPC, the middle value is also the number 6.

The effect of every vision is at hand. Repent, be baptisied and read the Word of God daily!

As for the verses you are using from Revelation 13, look carefully at the actual text and you will note that John did not write “666 (“six hundred threescore and six”) is the mark of the beast, nor did he say “666” is the number of the beast. He specifically and purposefully wrote that the number “666 corresponded to” the “number of the beast which is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred threescore and six.” Neither did John say: “..is the number of man (as in ‘mankind’),” but he specifically wrote: “…is the number of a man,” meaning a particular man.

That particular man to whom John was pointing those “who hath understanding,” is Solomon. “His number” corresponds to “money” as in the amount of “gold” he received in a one-year period:

“Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold.” (I Kings 10:14)

So, the number 666 refers to nothing more or less than MONEY!!

There is not a person in this world that has not ALREADY received the “mark of the beast” in his or her “right hand”—not one! It is impossible to live in this world without being affected in some way by commercialism, money, or the economic structures set up by the societies of the earth.

Without money, we will die.

We are much closer than most people realize. Armageddon is a place, not an occurrence. Jesus will come at the end of the tribulation period, during such time as the antichrist's reign in Jeruselum.
