The officers were cleared of any wrongdoing, along with finding that meyer possibly intended to spark the confrontation.
"According to the report, during a Sept. 11 Gators for Rudy [Giuliani] rally, Meyer got into an argument with another student and told a friend that ``if he liked what he had seen that he should go to the Kerry speech and he would really see a show.''"

I agree with the findings.

mele kai- the weapons like OC spray and the tazer ate lower on the levels of force than using blows from a fist or baton. The OC was not used becuase there was a chance of it affecting the others there.

Ya... that kid is an idiot who thrives of posting stupid antics on his web site.
He staged this for his own enjoyment.
Whats really sad? All the people out there that think he is some kind of victim and whine about how he was brutalized.
Oh, and I had to get shot with the Taser when our agency certified us to use them... Ya, it sucks and is the worse pain I ever head.... but as soon as it stops.. the pain is gone.
In the old days they would have taken a wooden or steel baton to him. That would have left a lasting impression upon him.

Mele Kai and Caldude clearly know nothing about law enforcement. We are cops not wrestlers, if you don't comply you will be tazed, if you threaten our lives you might be shot. That guy broke the law, was told to stop numerous times, was even warned about getting tazed and still persisted. I wish they had tazed him longer. By the way, tazers are not deadly.

I also agree with the findings. I also find it interesting that the same bleeding heart media that roundly condemned the Officers involved in the tazing of this individual hasn't had the huevos to stand up and say they were wrong.
"Damned if you do...damned if you don't" applies.
LMAO...Ditto What Common Sense said. She's a stunner.

As well they should be cleared. That idiot had several chances to just walk away.
Thanks for the post, kevw25.... as far as the rest of Yahoo... Hopefully, this will put this topic to rest! Forever.

"Gwen Kaster, a UF religion major, agreed. ''They should have beat him with some batons while they were at it,'' Kaster said."
Nice, that's my kind of girl.
