Actually for me it was when I exhausted my energy trying to argue against it. I talk to a lot of people know on how to, at the VERY least, try to sound educated when attempting to debut the Bible. What I found was that the Old Testament is firmly rooted in quantifiable truth. Cultures across the region reiterate that which is clearly laid out in the Old Testament. And to know that Archeologists the world around utilize the Old Testament as a guide was even more reaffirming. We truly aren't exposed to the level of knowledge that has went in to sifting through history strata by strata to understand our past. As I tried to argue this or that, I would repeatedly hit with another external source that reaffirmed the Scriptures. So trying to disprove the Bible became an all out fight into disproving everything else.
So when it came to the New Testament, the difficulty arose even higher because the New Testament is structured from the prophecies of the Old. Since it couldn't logically be argued for the Old, the New became an alternate challenge. When I approached it, I feel into some traditional pitfalls or sceptics, which largely was embarrassing because I ultimately spoke of my incompetence than anything else. What I learned the most was that the Bible cannot be muted, so what is muted is parallel sources that serve to substantiate the Bible's position. Most people don't even know who Josephius was, and yet he isn't even the best external source. Additionally, I discovered there is actually a metric out there for determining the authenticity of the ancient scripts. The Old Testament does not score as high as the New, largely because of the time lapse from the actual event to the moment it was put into writting; however, the Bible itself outpaces anything written by Homer, or any of the Greek scholars with regards to accuracy. And yet, like sheep, well all think that what we are reading with regards to these guys is far more accurate than anything in the Bible. It was at that point I realized in my attempt to appear scholarly, I was merely trying to hide my pride, stubborness and incompetence.

How can the Bible be infallible IF humans wrote it..?
NOTHING that man does, writes or creates is "infallible".
The only way the word "infallible" is correctly used is ONLY when discussing God.
God is the only thing "infallible" in this world.
When a person is called infallible, this can mean any of the following:
Some statements or teachings made by this person can be relied on to be certainly true
All statements or teachings made by this person can be relied on to be certainly true
All information believed by this person is true
This person is free from flaws or defects, especially of a moral nature .
These definitions differ widely. In common speech, infallibility can refer to a person (or a group of persons), to an act of teaching by these persons, or to the information being taught.
Furthermore, infallibility can refer to the absence of error or to the inability to err. Although these are similar, they are philosophically distinct categories. For example, it is theoretically possible for a person to live their entire life without ever uttering a false sentence, even though they had the ability to err.

My conversion was rather sudden and traumatic, so Faith was instant.
I began Reading the Bible immediately believing that everything I was reading to be the true, completely infallible, word of God.

There's so many things we find that prove the Bible out.
For me, I began to realize that ALL the arguments against the Bible are pushing a person to accept the idea that our Almighty God was unable, or incapable, of preserving His words and meanings for a mere few thousand years!
Imagine that...an all-powerful God, being unable to do something...
Once I knew that, that's when I began to learn.
