Pink eye, go to the doc, get antibiotics and wash your hands alot. Change your pillow cases and anything that touches your eyes...mascara, eyeshadow. I know it sucks, but you will just keep re-infecting yourself.

You may have what is called chronic blepheritis. It's usually hereditary. The blephera is the part of the eye where the eyelashes grow. The irritation can come from allergies. Try washing your eyes gently with Johnson's & Johnson's baby shampoo once or twice a day. Check with your optometrist. Have you been checked for pink eye? Take care and good luck.

I have heard the song Mr Sandman but this is not a joke. You possibly have a mild eye infection and need eye drops or something similar, If in uk or Eire the Chemist will give advice which will also include see doctor if "this" does not clear it up in 48hrs

More than likely it is pink-eye, it's an infection in your eye. You have to go see a doctor for antibiotic for your eyes. It can go away by itself over time, but it can damage the eye and it is very and I stress very contagious. So don't rub your your eye and touch everything. It can be passed on to someone else.

I'm going to say Pink Eye, an infection of the conjuntiva. I'd get to an eye doctor, or any doctor, and get some eyedrop meds ASAP!
I have had it, my child has too. It is nasty, but will heal without permanent vision damage.

This can be an indication of a mild eye infection. If your eyes are becoming red, inflamed or itchy too, you should speak to your pharmacist. Honestly, if it was me I would go and ask a pharmacist anyway...
Take care..

For a correct diagnosis, I will need to know which eye?{ I only treat left eyes}. Seriously, get your eyes checked. It may be a symptom of a bigger problem. It only happens to me when I get too tired or miss sleep.
