I was Navy in the early 90's. I got into some trouble for drinking underage and was ultimately generally discharged with an OTH at my 2 year mark. It's bothered me for years and wanna redeem myself for my mistakes as a youth. I had an oustanding record according to my service jacket and recieved various awards that are documented. My immaturity cost me something I loved dearly and have regretted to this day. I've been talking with a guy I work with who recently retired from the NG and said despite that I may be able to get in. I've sent off a Form 293 to request a change in discharge status for my own reasons. But would would I still be considered even if my 293 is denied? At 33 I'm not getting any younger. I've got a great job so money or job training isn't my motive. It's a personal desire for myself and duty for my country.
Call a recruiter and discuss the details with him and see what he or she can do if they are good and know what they are doing you should be good to go

Can't work with OTH. You have to apply to get it changed. Time is your friend on that & hopefully you've done well since then. Write a good narrative and mention one of the reasons you're trying to get it changed is so you can come in the guard. If that comes back approved then come by a guard recruiter and they'll take care of you.

depends on the narrative code on your RE4. Drug or alcohol related, not gonna happen. all others are on a case by case basis.

Depends on the reasons I think. Chances are if you can you will need a waiver.
