I'd say so! Contact a therapist or someone soon. She needs to talk to someone. A 6 y/o little girl shouldn't be fantasizing about murder and death. Creepy.

Yes, it would be a good idea to see a psychiatrist that specializes in child psych.
How do you think she got these fantasies? I doubt most 6-year-olds know fully what murdering/kiling is. Is she accessible to "adult" tv shows? Or maybe an older sibling is contributing to this?

To to tell you the reality, i used to be like that, yet to no longer that quantity. in case you choose for him to savor you and your mom, do no longer do something for him, consisting of cook dinner for him or do his laundry or purchase him new video games. do no longer talk with him in any respect. After a week, ask him to do a chore. If he refuses, proceed the silent therapy. I assure a transformation in his habit. even in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, if this would not impression your brother, i'm afraid you will could sell all of his leisure sources. If he has a in good shape, provide him the silent therapy back after which ask him to do chores. i'm no longer an expert, yet i'm hoping this helps your brother interior the slightest way.

She is repeating what she is hearing either at school or day care or right at the home. Now where do you live? Inner city or violent neighbor hood. Get her help but chances are she will out grow this either way as long as the parents are supportive.

She must be learning it from somewhere, maybe from TV. I don't think that a 6yr old really understands what the word murder means, just explain it to her as much as a 6yr old will understand the meaning of the word.

I would run, not walk to a therapist!
A child at that age shouldn't be talking about
that topic. Now either she has an over-active
imagination, but at that age, little girls are often
thinking about dolls and flowers - not killing people!

Definitely!!! You need to seek some counseling for your daughter or some kind of therapy. This is definitely something to worry about ESPECIALLY when she's so young....you need to find her help now before she gets older...and this gets worse.

I would definitely have a psychiatrist evaluate her, not a therapist. A psychiatrist is actually a medical doctor.

I would be very concerned. You need to speak with a doctor and possibly a therapist. She may have had something happen to her that you are unaware of.
