Here's the short - ok long - story.
I moved back to NC in 2006 and decided to attend church, which I hadn't done in many years. I was raised Baptist, but that never worked for me so I decided to attend a local Episcopal church. I loved it and I and my 2 year old son were baptised there. Everything was fine until I met someone and got busy with dating life. I got distracted and haven't been to church in a year or more. I ended up getting married, am pregant and unfortunately, my marriage hasn't worked out and we are separated. We surely didn't know each other long enough and I know I let love cloud my judgment. ANYWAY - I'm wanting to go back to church and feel a bit guilty for falling away again after making such an effort to (re)dedicate my life to a church lifestyle.
My question is - do I go back to my former church or do you think I should look for a new one and start over? I kind of felt like I didn't fit in at the first church - what do you think? What would you do?

Serious answers only please and please no criticisms of churchgoing, God, believers, etc. This is an honest question and yes I am in prayer over it. I am thinking of either
A. going back to my original church
B. trying another Episcopal church in my town or
C. trying a Lutheran church that is close to my home also.

Well, if you didn't fit in the first church, than maybe you should look elsewhere. I don't really know anything about either one but I have a policy that I have always told my children "never look back, just keep going forward, you will find the truth if you truly keep searching".

If you loved your old church, go back. Make sure you're growing and they preach the Word. If it doesn't feel like the right fit any more, pray about it and keep looking. We all stumble and there's nothing to feel guilty about. Guilt doesn't come from God anyway. I personally go to a non denominational church but only you know if you are growing in your relationship with God.

i think that if ur looking 4 the truth it is not in any one church, i have been true allot my self and i think that u shod study tha bible ur self every day because u get new information every time u read it, and then u cud judge 4 ur self which religion is best on tha truth, Ive taken Little bits and Pisces from different religions and put them together with the bibles words , and the truth is that every religion is not 100% acuret 2 tha bible, so take it upon ur self to get tha true information and read tha bible ur self and meditate on it.

Go to a good bible-based church. One that you find entertaining, and worth your time. Notate how you feel when you walk in, and after you leave. No Christians are perfect, so don't let anyone try to show you otherwise. I will pray for you, God bless.

I'm sure if you went back to your former church they'd be glad to have you. People make mistakes because nobody's perfect. Don't feel guilty.

This is a very personal decision, and no one can reall ytell you what or which church you should join. I would suggest investigating several, so that you can make a good decision about it.
Ask lost of questions and find the church that answers those questions to your satisfaction. My only suggestion to you.....let the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints be one of those that you investigate......(I am a lifelong member)

None. Think for yourself. You can have a great relationship with [G]od(s) without any interference from a church.

(D) None of the above...
Try a non-denominational church, one that follows only the Bible and not books or conventions of men.

I think you should think of going to a catholic mass and after ward talk to a priest about your life and where you are with god and if you are thinking " I am not going to go to some guy and talk about my life" he's not some guy and he could really help you.

Try going to a Kingdom hall or studying with a Jehovah's Witness. Their is nothing to lose because it is free. And you can use your own bible.
