were there any witnesses? if so you could call a lawyer and sue either him or the workplace.

however. sueing sucks and costs a lot of money. do what they said and talk to the boss's boss and maybe even the coworker about it. tell them how you feel and if they don't want to do anythign threaten them with a lawsuit. (even if you have no intention of doing so)

harrassment shouldn't be tolerated at all. If your boss won't do nothing about it, go to his boss if not, report it to HR. Well with my company if you want to make a claim about something illegal or morally wrong happening on the job we have a trustline that you we can call. You'll stay anonymous in making the claim; same as reporting it to HR.

You shouldn't let this go on any further, even if someone gets fired harrassment shouldn't be tolerated at all.

Harassment is just that, If your boss or Hr will not do any thing then take him aside and tell him that you do not appreciate being talked to in that fashion, document this and any other incidents and turn it over to the police (make sure to have witnesses)

You can let the HR department know that if steps aren't taken to prevent this from happening again you are going to go to the labor board.

There are harassment laws - if your boss will not do anything about this behavior you may want to file a suit against your employer.

Report it to your boss. If nothing happens, report it to your boss's boss.
