kissing him. I don't want to do this, he is gorgeous and i don't want something so silly to ruin what could be a nice relationship. How would you resolve the issue? I have thought about saying that English girls kiss differently and demonstrate how i like to kiss. Would this seem offensive? Any other ideas?

And i am well aware that there is a possibility he is just after a visa or anything else. I am taking things very slowly and not taking it too seriously. Any nice advice will be greatly apreciated. Thanks.

I've dated 3 turkish men in my life, 2 were amazing kissers, the other not so much... they will be offended if you say "let me show you how WE kiss here" Don't use term with the poor guy lol

You take the lead when you kiss him, you tell him you want to kiss him and for him to sit back and enjoy the ride :)

It worked with *Him* ;) Much better kisser after that :)

Forming your own opinions is fine. The annoying part is when women think it's only their opinion that matters. Or that it matters more. Wanting babies is fine, but be responsible about it and be with the guy for some years first. The "independence" thing is really just a code word for being a high horsed b*tch. But, being a capable human being who realizes that we all depend on each other in some way is quite admirable. Humans are social creatures. We have law enforcement, construction workers, butchers, farmers, technicians, ect... We'd be much worse off without them. As far as the cooking and house keeping. As long as you try that's good enough. But the absolute number one thing about it, do not complain or nag about it. Nagging only proves to be annoying, nothing good comes of it.

When doubt comes in between any thing it ruins completely. Better know what you are into before stepping ahead. Kissing is alltogether a different issue. Even then if this kissing troubles, you can teach him what you want, had I been in the case I really would have enjoyed learning and experiencing it. Waiting for such great moments.

In most cases, men like to be told what to do. Try it out on him one time and just lead him how you like to kiss. If things go well, he should respond and then continue to do what you like. As time goes on, show him a bit more. You never know, you may be able to teach him some new tricks!

Just be careful not to get yourself in too deep, as you say you are taking it slow. Good luck!

Some cultures do not approve and even consider it obscene (as demonstrated by the kiss with Richard Gere and the Indian actress in public...now they want to arrest both of them). So you might ask if kissing is forbidden or considered out of line in his country..

Your idea is a good one. Unlike English boys, Turkish boys have very little contact with girls and little experience with kissing (or anything else). You may need to teach him quite a few things.

If he's inexperienced take control and show him how. Anyone can learn to kiss well with a good teacher.

Do you smoke?
Do you drink?
Have halitosis?
If you are experienced then it will show - have you had an AIDS test?
Is he more used to kissing men?
Difference in cultures.
Exchange of body fluids may not be acceptable.

Just give it time & keep your comments to yourself, so as not to offend. It's good that you are aware that he may just be using you as a stepping stone to gain access to a Visa. Before long, you'll be able to see what his true intentions are.

Take it slow is smart!
My wife is Cuban. I am British/American. Our cultural differences are HUGE. I find that most minorities from other countries are easily offended by almost anything. Ignorance is not tolerated by them. They EXPECT you to somehow know their ways and beliefs.

You do not have to kiss to have a relationship. Hugs work better for me.
