I think it's very rude. In the future when the sister/brother calls
BEFORE you hand the phone over to your brother engage them in small talk. Ask them how they are doing or what's going on... You are a part of the family and shouldn't have to "pry" for information. If your sister/brother in law want you to make something for a party then tell your husband to have one of them call you and set something up. If they don't call you to tell you what's on the menu simply show up empty handed and say "Well since I didn't hear from anyone about what to bring, I assumed everything was taken care of?" If you are having a get together call them and request their presence/bring something don't use your husband as the go between.. If things don't improve you may have to confront them and tell them how you feel.. Good luck

good! I thought i was the only one who thought this was rude. My in laws do this all the time. They text, call my their son, want to include him on stuff, the only way I'm included in anything is when only MY SON AND I go and see them without my hubby.
