jogging in place does not accurately recreate the natural movement of running. it does not burn the same amount of calories nor does it exercise the muscles the same as actually running and covering distance.

Jogging outfits will help lose weight because you will sweat more in the process. Jogging in place is ok, but going out will produce better effects, as you cant gain the momentum of actual running outside.

jogging outfits aren't necessary, although they're comfortable, you can go jogging in basically any kind of pants or shorts except for jeans, because they're heavy and if you sweat it sticks to your skin most annoyingly. Furthermore jogging in place is good enough if you spend double the time you would in normal jogging.

I really don't think jogging outfits affect how many calories you burn, but jogging in place is not as effective on burning fat.

you wear jogging suits to make you sweat during exercise, not as a fashion statement. anyway as long as your pulse and breathing increases and you sweat, then running on the spot or on a jogging machine will suffice.

It is better if you want to burn fat, it will make you sweat more; therefore, you will lose more.
Jogging in place is ok if you don't have any other option, but if you can, it is better to either run on a treadmill or actually run up the street.
Good Luck!!

Jogging is out of favours, it causes Jarred bone and can cause hairline crack that can be a big problem later.
