I once spoke with a lady who whole heartedly believed in God. I myself had no spiritual upbringing. I asked her how I was supposed to "start believing in something that I never believed to even exsist. She said ask him. So I did. I felt absolutely rediculous as I said "God I want to believe in you, but it is hard for me. Please show me, give me something concrete so I can accept you into my heart"
A few things had happened that made me wonder if that was my "answer". I kept asking Him, "is that supposed to be it? I find it hard to believe that its more than coincidence." Then about a week later, my two kids and I were eating dinner and my oldest who was 10 at the time said she was supposed to make a fathers day card at school. (My childrens father is absent form their lives). She said she would make one for her grandpa or something since she didnt have a father. My youngest who was 6 at the time, without missing a beat said very simply, "we do have a father Kylee, God is our father." He then looked up at me and smiled the biggest grin. I was stunned..... I racked my brain for where he could of heard that. No where. And for it comming at the time I asked Him for proof, I was convinced.

Just look around you, and see how logically created the world is. Everything in nature, including the human body, seems to be governed by precise laws that wouldn't have been possible without an author. Paying notice to all the harmony that exists in the universe, it's hard to believe that there is no God. There must be some intelligent mind out there responsible for everything. This is what made Albert Einstein believe in a God.

I do believe in God
However, I can't think of a single thing that, if presented to me, would make me believe in God. That being said, neither could I imagine a single thing that, when presented to me, would make me NOT believe in God.
if there was a party and Belief and Proof were invited, they would stand at opposite sides of the room because they would have nothing to talk about.

Two thousands years of horrific Christian behavior sure doesn't help much. What also doesn't help much are the multiple discrepancies found in the Old and New Testament. Morever, what about God's vindictive and cruel actions in the OT?
I now turn elsewhere for God or a creator since the bible is simply a paper idol for many Christians - a book that has lost its credibility for me.

There is something in my life that is missing.
Something that the very laws of physics would deny me.
Something that without, I am utterly incomplete.
Were I to have this one thing, I would have no choice but to believe it were a miracle, and thus of deific origin. It would not tell me WHICH deity to believe in, but it would verify that there was one.
However, I do not speak the exact nature of this thing.
But yes, there is a means of proof, should any deity wish to accept the challenge.

Becuase the odds that the big bang evoloution and all the other things that created our universe is so astrononmically large that the human mind cannot even begin to comprehend it, were as god is a yes or no he is or he isnt. And he is

Belief is a choice we all chose to either believe or to deny that we have a God who created us. Our own selfish desires to life our live the way we see fit, is what blinds most.

Old question and the fact is I don't need to know. First, the proof of a thing is only in the thing itself. Only god can prove god.
If there is no god then nothing could.
If there is then that means god knows what would convince me even if I don't. So I don't need to even think about it.
